History of the University
1997
KAU was formed
The idea to create a university based on the synthesis of programs from American and Kazakhstan universities belonged to Amirlan Aidarbekovich Kusainov, the founder of KAU.
1997
the first dual-degree program in Kazakhstan (Oklahoma SU, ECSU, Morehead SU, U of Cincinnati).
1999
KAU became a member of AAC&U.
2005
it gained AAC&U "Scholarship" Membership.
2007
KAU joined the International Educational Corporation (IEC).
2015
, IEC (KAU) successfully passed international accreditation by IQAA.
2020
IEC (KAU) entered the TOP-10 Best Universities in the country according to the NPP "Atameken" rating.
