President of Kazakh-American University Assylbek Issakhov has been included in the National Ranking TOP-100 CEOs of Kazakhstan 2024, organized annually by Kazakhstan Growth Forum. The ranking recognizes outstanding leaders who significantly contribute to the country’s business ecosystem and economic development.

Dr. Issakhov began his career in education in 2005. He holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and completed research training at Heidelberg University (Germany). Before joining KAU, he held academic and administrative leadership positions at KazNU, KBTU and IITU, where he earned recognition as an effective leader and educator.
